Toolbox Graphic Design were engaged to deliver a new brand identity for PIRSA which would bring together the myriad of services and disparate business units of PIRSA.
A consistent “family” of communication was achieved with a common look and feel giving each division its own identifiers and individuality. Our process took into account the large number of stakeholders and “owners” of the business units within each department, each with their own set of wants, needs and desired outcomes. Given this, we recommended an initial briefing consultation workshop with a designated representative from each business unit present to represent and speak on behalf of their unit. This level of consultation created a shared understanding of the balance required to achieve a holistic “family” of communication, whilst achieving their individual units’ outcomes. The resulting brand was immediately received without contention and implemented department wide. A comprehensive style guide was developed to cover and manage all applications and divisions.
